The Avery family had ever lived in a formidable mansion on Exeter Island. Although they seemed to be rich and powerful Lords,Florensia Gold and Ladies of Glostern, they feared for a loss of power when the King back then returned to the island.

To strengthen their own powers, they built a huge laboratory in the underground beneath their mansion. Supported by the money of the Merchant Union Magistri, they started to run experiments for the Noble Masquer Union to create strong soldiers for them.
But Gladis, leader of the Magistri Union found out that powers enforced by darkness were involved in the experiments and she ordered her Union to destroy the laboratory. This plan however failed and the mansion descended into chaos...
